Hadas is the founder and host of the YouTube open mic and Google poetry spoken word group, and has competed on multiple national slam teams, representing Berkeley, San Francisco, Palo Alto, and UC Berkeley at the National Poetry Slam competitions. She placed third in the nation at the College Unions Poetry Slam Invitational, with poems exploring Middle Eastern and Jewish identity, feminism, and foreign affairs. A former journalist, Hadas has been published in CNN, O, the Oprah Magazine, and the New York Times.
Hadas is on track 6, which was named after a line in her poem “Hoarders”, making space for what is to come:
