Abe Becker was recently published or has work forthcoming in Fifth Wednesday Journal, Drunk In A Midnight Choir, After Happy Hour Review, and other publications. He is the 2018 Berkeley Grand Slam Champion, a former champion of Cal Slam (at UC Berkeley), four time CUPSI finalist (twice as poet, twice as Cal Slam’s coach), the Poet Laureate of Awkward (according to someone who should know), and winner of Group Piece Finals at the National Poetry Slam.
